Our Lure Minerals Foundations are free from Bismuth Oxychloride, which is an ingredient which makes a lot of women break out, causes itchiness, irritation and redness on some women, and makes your face all shiny.  We instead use a product called Rice Powder and this ingredient will feel and look much silkier.

We do not use talc, bismuth oxychloride, corn starch, preservatives or fragrance in our foundation or other mineral makeup.

This mineral foundation is great for acne prone skin, and won't clog your pores.

The Luminous shades contain more mica than the Matte shades; therefore the Luminous shades will give your skin a dewy look.  This is because of the reflective properties of mica.

Our mineral foundations have a natural sunscreen because of the minerals used. Due to FDA guidelines, we cannot specify a sunscreen level without extensive laboratory testing which would drive up the cost of our foundations so we chose to only label them as a natural sunscreen.

In order to keep our prices low for trial sizes, we packaged the 1/2 tsp trial size (approximately 0.92 gram) foundation in a 4 x 4 zip-lock bag (big enough to get a face powder brush in) which saves you the cost of jarring the material.

Many companies include the weight of the jar in their total weight measurements, which can be deceiving and make you think you are receiving more makeup than you are.  We weigh our full size makeup in grams by the net weight.  Net weight gives the actual weight of the minerals ONLY, not including the jar.
